UPMC Community Osteopathic is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join the Resource Pool on a full-time night shift (7pm–7am). In this role you will assist with patient procedures, daily living activities, and document care in the medical record.

You will support RN staff, respond to call lights, transport patients, and help maintain safety and quality standards across the unit. The Resource Pool offers scheduling flexibility and a 10% differential to compensate for night work and role-specific

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1 year of general healthcare experience required.
• Enrollment in PT/OT/PA/RN program or related healthcare training may satisfy the requirement.
• Completion of a health sciences bachelor's degree and related training is acceptable.

Responsabilités

• Assists with patient procedures and activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Documents medical records according to procedures and reports equipment issues.
• Responds to call lights and supports nursing staff and patient care tasks.
• Communicates with patients, families, and health care team under RN direction.
