Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to perform UPMC nursing core responsibilities and related tasks with competency.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care including ADLs and therapies and reports status to RN.
• Performs nursing assistant tasks (blood glucose, weights, vitals, I&O, specimens, Foley care) and related duties.
• Maintains equipment and communicates malfunctions to appropriate departments.
• Documents in the medical record according to procedures.
• Maintains professional relationships and adheres to safety policies.
