Job summary

AHC Rehabilitation - White Oak Medical Center is seeking an experienced Patient Care Technician for the Rehabilitation unit. You will perform vital signs and activities of daily living under RN supervision, following care plans and reporting to the RN to maintain patient safety and quality care.

The role requires a Maryland CNA license, CNA program completion, and BLS. Strong English skills and computer literacy are essential; nursing student experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Successful completion of a CNA or first year Nursing School Program and CNA exam required.
• Maryland CNA License required.
• Active BLS certification required.
• Effective command of English (spoken and written).
• Physical ability to meet lifting, bending and turning requirements.
• Experience in acute care setting preferred.
• Strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and activities of daily living under RN supervision.
• Follow the care plan as established and delegated by the RN.
• Participate in department and organizational education programs and meetings.
• Present a professional image representing nursing and the organization.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions and ensure safety in work areas.
