Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; PCT program graduate with 6+ months hospital experience or CNA with EKG/Phlebotomy and PCT cert eligible, plus 6 months hospital exp.
• BLS/Heartsaver CPR/AED cert required upon entry; Heartsaver CPR/AED cert may be issued by AHA.
• Senior Nursing Attendant: CNA with 6 months relevant experience; CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the nurse in patient care tasks and ensure safety and comfort of patients.
• Maintain unit supplies, equipment and environment; support QA measures and patient satisfaction efforts.
• Demonstrate NYU Langone Health Core Values in daily performance; participate in unit meetings and education.
