Endeavor Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Post Surgical Unit in Arlington Heights, IL. This full-time night shift (7:00pm–7:30am) includes every other weekend with a 36-hour work week.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or BSN in nursing required.
• Current Illinois nursing license required.
• Current CPR certification from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to ensure interventions are safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly with patients and teammates in person, by phone and in writing.
• Tailors patient and family teaching to learning needs identified in assessment.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice.
• Maintains knowledge of current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.
