Job summary

White Oak Medical Center in Maryland is seeking an experienced Patient Care Technician for our Observation Unit who will support nursing staff by performing vital signs and activities of daily living under RN supervision. The role emphasizes compassionate care, safety, and professional growth.

The schedule features 36 hours per week, three 12-hour night shifts (6:45 pm–7:15 am) with weekend and holiday rotations and a favorable shift differential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Successful completion of a CNA program and CNA exam.
• Maryland CNA license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Proficient in English (spoken and written).
• Ability to lift, bend and turn as needed.
• Experience in acute care setting preferred.
• Strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform vital signs and activities of daily living under RN supervision.
• Duties may vary by unit.
• Consider special needs of patient populations.
