Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognized Nurse Assistant program OR
• Two years of direct patient care experience OR

Responsibilities

• Collects, reports, and documents data: vital signs, height/weight, intake and output, pulse oximetry, and collects specimens.
• Obtains blood samples by venipuncture.
• Acquires 12 lead EKG.
• Performs and reports POCT.
• Assists with patient activities and care as assigned by the charge nurse/designee as indicated by the patient’s plan of care.
• Provides for patients’ personal hygiene and related care.
• Assists with feeding and mobility.
• Maintains patient privacy and infection control measures.
• Cares for patients in a correctional environment.
• Documents and maintains supplies in patient care areas.
