Qualifications

• 12 college credit hours including a passing English Composition course (C or better).
• Healthcare or service-industry experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to shifts.
• Good organization and time-management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication with patients and families.
• Ability to learn and apply new healthcare-related skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and consistently.
• Ability to collaborate with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the patient and family with basic patient care, monitoring, hygiene and ensure care is complete.
• Spend most of the time in the presence of the patient, showing compassion and strong human interaction.
• Provide education that includes CPR, skills training, Crucial Conversations and Hospitality in Healthcare.
