Job summary

Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, Virginia seeks a full-time Patient Care Technician for the 10 West Unit, working the night shift with every other weekend and rotating holidays. The position includes a $7,500 sign-on bonus for eligible external candidates.

As a key part of the care team, you will assist patients with daily activities and ensure a safe, clean environment while promoting well-being and comfort.

Applicants must have a high school diploma, and prior experience in patient care is preferred along with effective communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in direct patient care preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
• AHA BLS-HCP required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care and assist with daily living activities.
• Participate in quality improvement activities.
• Transport patients and supplies within the facility.
