Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician I in a Med/Surg unit for full-time night shifts with rotating weekends. The role supports RNs, LPNs and physicians in routine patient care and basic tasks, ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, CNA program completion preferred, and BLS certification. Prior clinical rotation or patient care experience is welcomed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate from a certified Nursing Assistant Program or Health Occupations Program preferred.
• Completion of first clinical rotation or 1 year of patient care experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist RNs, LPNs and physicians in routine patient care tasks.
• Support the patient care team with basic care activities.
• Assist with activities of daily living as assigned and within scope.
