Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Emergency Department in Plainfield. This full-time role offers a night shift schedule (1:00pm-1:00am) with rotating holidays and weekends. The position supports RN-led patient care with a focus on safety, comfort, and high-quality service across our Plainfield Hospital.

Required CPR certification; EMT-B preferred. Candidates should have completed an accredited nursing assistant program or have six months of patient care experience,

Qualifications

• CPR certification current (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• EMT-B certification preferred.
• Six months of patient care experience or equivalent (nursing assistant training, clinical rotation, or EMT-B).
• Completion of Care Companion Course within six months if required by the department.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care tasks under the direction of an RN and established procedures.
• Perform patient care procedures to ensure comfort and safety of patients.
• Prioritize tasks and follow directions from supervising staff.
