Job summary

Endeavor Health in Plainfield is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Emergency Department. You will work under the guidance of a Registered Nurse to provide essential patient care, comfort, and safety during night shifts.

Requirements include CPR certification and EMT-B preferred, plus completion of an accredited nursing assistant program or EMT-B coursework. Strong teamwork and the ability to follow directions are essential.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• EMT-B Certification preferred.
• Six months of patient care experience or completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course or EMT-B course.
• Completion of Care Companion Course within six months of hire if required by department.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork, prioritization, and ability to follow directions.
