Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support nurses and maintain patient safety in a full-time PM shift. You will obtain vitals, weights, inputs and outputs, and participate in an in-house PCT training program while following safety protocols.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED and CPR certification within 30 days of hire. The role is based at UAB Medicine in Alabama and offers comprehensive benefits for eligible positions.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for certain technical aspects of patient care as directed by the RN/LPN.
• Obtain and record vitals, weight, inputs and outputs.

• Demonstrate awareness of patient and personal safety.
