Job summary

UAB Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama seeks a Patient Care Technician to support perioperative services in one of the nation’s largest surgical programs. You will assist the RN/LPN, obtain and record vitals, weight, inputs and outputs, and complete an in-house PCT training program to ensure safe, high‑quality patient care.

Minimum qualification is a high school diploma or GED with CPR certification within 30 days.

• Obtain and record vitals, weight, inputs and outputs.
• Demonstrate awareness of patient and personal safety.
