Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England Mercy Medical Center is seeking an experienced Patient Care Technician (PCT/CNA) to join our night-shift team. You will assist physicians and care for patients across a variety of conditions, with focus on daily living activities and compassionate, safe care.

This role requires a high school diploma, CPR/BLS certification, and ability to pass background checks. Night shift, 7:00 pm–7:30 am, every other weekend/holiday.

Qualifications

• Must have CPR/BLS certification (AMA or Red Cross).
• Requires ability to pass drug screenings and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist assigned patients with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, fluid intake/elimination, bathing and dressing, and delivery of ice and beverages.
• Perform tasks such as patient transport, collection of specimens, and distribution of linens and supplies.
• Provide care according to hospital procedures to protect safety and dignity of patients.
• May perform secretarial tasks to aid unit flow; other duties as assigned by the Nurse Manager.
