Job summary

Indiana University Health in Indianapolis, Indiana seeks a dedicated Patient Care Technician (PCA) to support bedside care under the RN. This full-time night shift role focuses on compassionate daily living activities and patient comfort.

Qualifications

• Must have BLS certification or be willing to attain during the onboarding period.
• Ability to assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Comfort with the fast-paced hospital environment and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living to patients.
• Assist with meals, baths, and linen changes as needed.
• Monitor vital signs and report abnormalities to RN.
• Maintain patient safety with alarms and gait belts as appropriate.
• Ensure patient surroundings are clean and orderly.
