Christian Hospital, part of BJC HealthCare, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care under nurse supervision. The role emphasizes patient safety, ADLs assistance, vital signs, and effective documentation in a fast-paced hospital setting in Missouri.

Schedule includes 36 hours per week with nights (7:00pm–7:30am) and every-other-weekend rotation. CNA certification required; High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience as CNA, nurse assistant, EMT, or surgical technician.

Responsabilités

• Implements direct patient care under the supervision of the nurse, assisting with ADLs, vital signs, intake/output, fall and pressure ulcer prevention, catheter care, phlebotomy, or point of care testing.
• Collects clinical data and reports changes in patient status to the nurse.
• Assists with patient and family education; documents care using correct medical terminology; acts as 1:1 safety sitter as necessary.
• Ensures availability of supplies and equipment to meet patient needs.
• Participates in activities promoting patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance, and professional development.
