Job summary

Missouri Baptist Medical Center in Saint Louis County is seeking a Part Time Certified Nursing Assistant to support the inpatient surgical and medical units. You will provide direct patient care under RN supervision, assist with ADLs, take vital signs, and help with patient education as needed.

The role emphasizes patient safety and quality care, with night shifts 7:00 PM–7:00 AM and holiday/weekend rotations. Eligible benefits accompany employment. Previous CNA certification is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No prior experience required.
• Certified Nurse Assistant license required.

Responsibilities

• Implements direct patient care under supervision of the nurse, promoting patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
• Collects clinical data and information on patients, and reports changes in patient status to the nurse.
• Assists nurse with patient and family education. Documents all patient care activities with correct medical terminology. Acts as 1:1 patient safety sitter as necessary.
• Ensures availability of supplies and equipment to meet each patient's needs.
• Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
