Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within the orientation period and kept current.
• Experience is preferred but on-the-job training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide hygienic care and age-appropriate procedures for assigned patients.
• Answer call lights and record patient vital signs as unit specified.
• Assist with admissions, repositioning, ambulation, meals, and escort transport as needed.
• Document baths, turns, oral intake and output, grooms, and perineal care in charts.
• Enter orders into the EMR, schedule procedures, and notify licensed personnel.
• Maintain department cleanliness and stock rooms, equipment, and break areas.
