Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Answers call lights using wireless phones or console.
• Measures and records patient vital signs per unit specification.
• Assists with admissions by taking vital signs, weights, and gowning.
• Places telemetry patches and leads on patients.
• Repositions patients every two hours and helps with ambulation.
• Assists patients with meals and prepares eating area.
• Passes food trays and feeds patients who cannot feed themselves.
• Records intake & output, bath details, and other care notes.
• Enters orders into EMR, schedules procedures, and notifies licensed personnel.
• Helps transport patients and keeps department tidy.
