Job summary

The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore is seeking clinical technicians for the Medical Acute Care Unit (Halsted 3/Osler 3). This full-time night shift (3 x 12 hours, 7pm–7:30am) role requires a CNA in Maryland, acute care experience, and BLS CPR certification.

Training opportunities include eight days off-unit in the first year to support growth. You'll join a team that cares for patients with pulmonary diseases, GI, cardiac and endocrine conditions, focusing on compassionate, family-centered

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Maryland is required.
• 1 year of acute care (hospital) tech experience is required (EMT or CRT experience may be considered).
• BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide highly skilled, patient- and family-centered care as a contributing member of the health care team.
• Undergo ongoing education to perform at the highest level of certification and scope of practice.
• Attend eight days of off-unit training in the first year to support development.
