Job summary

The Patient Care Technician - Health Unit Coordinator at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Hillcrest provides clerical support and direct patient care under licensed nursing supervision. You will collect data, monitor vitals, assist with daily activities, and maintain records to ensure efficient unit operations.

Qualifications

• EDUCATION - HS Diploma/GED Equivalent.
• EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience.
• CERTIFICATION - BLS required or within 30 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Collects and records patient data; reports to nursing team promptly.
• Obtains and records patient vital signs, height, weight, intake and output.
• Assists with daily activities and mobility; maintains cleanliness of patient areas.
• Maintains unit records, admissions, discharges, and physician lists.
• Greets visitors and answers calls; coordinates with staff.
