Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to work nights in the Float Pool unit at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. You will assist nurses with patient care, monitor vital signs, and support families as part of a licensed team.

Qualifications

• Education requires HS Diploma or GED.
• Experience: Less than 1 year is acceptable for this role.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collect and record patient data, record vital signs and help patients with activities of daily living (ADL).
• Answer call lights and complete patient rounds.
• Help with completing/maintaining files and forms for admission, transfer, and discharges.
• Take care of patient personal hygiene and help with patient clean up.
• Comply with Baylor Scott and White policies and procedures.
