Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Lake Pointe in Rowlett, TX seeks an RN Float for night shift (7pm–7am). This vital role supports nursing care across units, coordinating patient care and ensuring safe transitions under the hospital’s nursing model.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program and 1 year Med/Surg experience; BLS certification or within 30 days; strong communication and teamwork; familiarity with electronic health records and hospital procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license in good standing or eligibility.
• 1 year Med/Surg experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care and plan individualized care across units.
• Assess patients and evaluate responses to health issues.
• Delegate interventions to team members based on guidelines and patient needs.
