BJC HealthCare's Alton Memorial Hospital is seeking a CNA/Nurse Assistant for night shifts. You will provide direct patient care under a nurse, assist with daily living activities, monitor vitals, and document care. The role emphasizes patient safety and collaboration with the nursing team.

Preferred candidates include CNAs or nurse assistants, EMTs, or surgical technicians with high school or GED. Benefits eligible with 36 hours weekly and night rotation.

Competenze

• Preferred experience as CNA, nurse assistant, EMT, or surgical tech.
• Experience not strictly required for entry.

Mansioni

• Provide direct patient care under nurse supervision, ensuring safety.
• Assist with ADLs, take vital signs, intake/output, and comfort measures.
• Document care activities using appropriate medical terminology.
• Report changes in patient status to the nurse promptly.
• Ensure supplies and equipment are available for patient needs.
