Job summary

Missouri Baptist Medical Center, a Magnet-designated acute care hospital in St. Louis County, is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant for the Advanced Cardiac Care Unit.

The role provides direct patient care under supervision, assisting with ADLs, vital signs, and daily care while maintaining patient safety in a fast-paced environment. You will collect patient data, report changes to the nursing team, and support patient and family education.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Nurse Assistant preferred/certified.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Implements direct patient care under the supervision of the nurse, assisting with ADLs, vital signs, intake/output, fall and pressure ulcer prevention.
• Collects clinical data and reports changes in patient status to the nurse.
• Assists nurse with patient and family education; documents care using medical terminology; may act as 1:1 sitter.
• Ensures availability of supplies and equipment to meet patient needs.
• Participates in patient safety initiatives and professional development.
