Job summary

Barnes-Jewish Hospital at Washington University Medical Center, the largest hospital in Missouri, seeks a Staff Nurse (RN) in Division 2100 to provide direct patient care under supervision, assist with ADLs, monitor vital signs, and support the nursing team. This Magnet-certified facility values safety and excellence in patient care.

Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma or GED; CNA certification is preferred. ACLS/BLS certification must be obtained within 1 year.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: No Experience.
• License: Certified Nurse Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Implements direct patient care under supervision, promoting patient and family centered care.
• Administers or assists with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and performs vital signs.
• Collects clinical data and reports changes in patient status to the nurse.
• Documents patient care activities with correct terminology.
• Acts as 1:1 safety sitter as necessary.
• Maintains supplies and equipment for patient needs.
