Intermountain Health is seeking a Part Time Night Shift Patient Care Technician at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction, CO. Role supports the patient care team, performs basic nursing tasks, and may assume Health Unit Coordinator duties.

CNA in Colorado and BLS required; two 12-hour night shifts (6:00pm–6:30am) per week with varying days. Responsibilities include basic patient care, data documentation, telemetry as needed, and collaboration with RNs.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in Colorado.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver basic patient care including toileting, bathing, linen changes, and comfort measures.
• Report and record patient care findings promptly.
• Monitor patient condition and seek assistance as needed.
• May perform telemetry as required and assist as a patient care attendant.
• Transport medications to RN on the unit.
• Collaborate with RN and interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal care.
• May assist as Health Unit Coordinator (phones, orders, unit records).
• Follow care plan and regulations; perform duties within scope of practice.
