Intermountain Health’s Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, CO is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support the patient care team during the night shift (6:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.). The role may include Health Unit Coordinator duties and requires a Colorado CNA license and BLS.

A generous education assistance program is available. Responsibilities include direct patient care, documentation, and collaboration with RNs and the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care.

Formación

• Current CNA license in Colorado.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Demonstrated basic computer literacy skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prioritize and deliver basic patient care, including toileting, bathing, linen and clothing changes, water and ice provision, ambulating, comfort measures, and patient requests.
• Record and report patient care findings and data promptly; notify changes in patient condition.
• Monitor patients and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team as needed.
• Transport medications to the RN as required on clinical units.
• May assume Health Unit Coordinator responsibilities (phones, orders, unit records, supplies).
• Implement delegated plan of care and perform duties within scope of practice.
