Job summary

Avera Dells Area Health Hospital in Dell Rapids, SD is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide for the regular night shift. You will provide routine patient care under the supervision of nurses and physicians, including assisting with activities of daily living, feeding, and documenting care in the computer system.

This role offers a night schedule with every third weekend or holiday on call, a pay range of $18.00 to $23.50 per hour, and benefits such as PTO from day one, retirement matching, and career

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CNA certification and licensure required.
• Minimum age 16.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe direct patient care including ambulating, bathing, positioning, and feeding.
• Responds promptly to patient call lights and special needs.
• Greets visitors, assists with messages, gifts, flowers, and mail for patients.
• Ambulates patients and assists in and out of wheelchairs; records intakes and outputs.
• Coordinates outpatient appointments and prepares requisitions for services.
• Maintains patient rooms, handles supplies, and supports department staff.
