Job summary

BARNES-JEWISH Hospital at Washington University Medical Center, the largest hospital in Missouri, seeks a Staff Nurse (RN) in the Division 2100 cardiology unit. You will provide direct patient care, collect vital data, and coordinate with the nursing team to ensure safe patient environments.

Responsibilities include administering ADLs, documenting care, and assisting with patient education while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) credential preferred or required.
• Must be certified in BLS and obtain ACLS within 1 year.
• No prior experience required for entry on this division.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under nurse supervision and supports ADLs.
• Collects patient data and reports changes to the nursing team.
• Assists with patient education for patients and families.
• Ensures supplies and equipment are available as needed.
• Supports patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance initiatives.
