Job summary

LCMC Health is seeking a Patient Care Tech for night shifts to support bedside care. You will assist with data collection for assessments, patient hygiene, nutrition, and personal care, while maintaining a safe and clean environment.

You will round with the care team to drive patient satisfaction and safety, demonstrating empathy and teamwork. Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and current American Heart Association BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, appropriate work experience.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting data used for assessment of patients' conditions, including vital signs, weights, and glucose monitoring.
• Assist with patient hygiene, nutrition and personal care needs and patient-related tasks.
• Maintain a safe environment for everyone and a clean patient care area.
• Complete patient rounds to drive satisfaction and safety and support care teams.
• Embrace teamwork and direction in performance of duties.
