Cleveland Clinic Akron General is seeking a Patient Care Nursing Assistant in the Float Pool for night shifts (11:00pm-7:30am) at Akron General. You will support diverse units, learn from top caregivers, and help provide patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

As a PCNA, you will perform essential care tasks, monitor patients, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safety and comfort. This role offers growth opportunities within a prestigious health system.

Formación

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• BLS certification through AHA/Red Cross on hire or within period.
• Basic computer literacy required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare units, patient rooms and beds for admissions, transfers or emergencies.
• Provide and document assigned care (bathing, linens, dressing, etc.).
• Take and document vitals (temp, pulse, respirations, BP, oximetry, weight, height).
• Perform treatment procedures (blood draws, enemas, casts, oxygen setup, Foley management).
• Assist with meals, hydration and patient nutrition per physician orders.
• Assist with pre-operative and post-operative care and patient positioning.
• Support admission, transfer and discharge processes.
• Conduct hourly safety rounds and respond to call lights.
• Document care in the electronic medical record.
• Complete ongoing competency requirements and trainings.
