Job summary

The Cleveland Clinic Marymount Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Nurse Assistant to join the Neuroscience Medical Unit. You will provide basic patient care under an RN, monitor patients, and help maintain clean, safe rooms during a night shift with rotating weekends and holidays.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or GED, nursing student rotation credit, or STNA; BLS certification is required within the new hire period. Military medical background is considered advantageous.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Nursing students who completed a clinical rotation may substitute the required experience.
• Military experience will be considered.
• BLS certification within the new hire period.
• Competencies in professional, technical and clinical knowledge.
• Mathematics and reading comprehension at junior high level.

Responsibilities

• Provide or assist with patient care under RN supervision.
• Report abnormal findings to an RN.
• Keep patients' rooms clean and orderly.
