Job summary

Valley Health System in Paramus, NJ, is seeking a compassionate clinical assistant to support physicians and nurses. You will perform EKGs, finger-stick glucose, phlebotomy, wound care, and assist with crutch fitting while recording vital signs.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR certification, and relevant credentialing or active nursing student status. You will work night shifts in a hospital setting, using computerized systems to aid patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current CPR card/certification is required.
• One of the approved credentials or enrollment in nursing coursework with BLS within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide EKGs, finger-stick glucose, phlebotomy, and wound care.
• Obtain and record vital signs and assist with crutch fitting.
• Assist with materials management and equipment as directed.
• Support physicians, nurses, and staff in patient care per policy.
