Job summary

The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to work onsite at 75 Francis Street with a 36-hour weekly schedule. The role supports licensed personnel in daily living activities, vital checks, and patient comfort, including help with mobility and basic hygiene.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma (preferred), BLS and relevant certifications (preferred), and 0–1 year in patient care. Eligible new employees may receive a sign-on bonus. Night shift available.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Licenses: Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred; Nursing Assistant/National Certification preferred; CMA/National Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Take vitals, and monitor intake and output.
• Document care in the electronic medical record.
• Assist with turning, repositioning, and mobility.
• Report patient concerns to nurses and care team.
