Under the direction of an RN or LPN, the Patient Care Associate (PCA) assists with individualized patient care to help patients achieve their highest wellness. The role is performed as part of a dedicated team on a 30‑bed Medical/Surgical unit.
Location: Mercy Hospital, Washington, MO
Shift: Nights (8 p.m. – 8 a.m.)
Hours: Full‑time, 36 hours/week (Weekend/Holiday rotation)
Department: Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg)

PCT Additional Duties:
Training Program: Accredited Department of Labor Apprenticeship Program – 175‑hour training completed within 90 days for those without prior experience. BLS certification required within 1 month of hire. Complete PCA competencies within 3 months.
