Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks a patient care assistant to support daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and assist with feeding, bathing, dressing, and comfort as part of a compassionate care team. You will document observations, communicate with nurses, and help ensure patient comfort during night shifts at the 70 Francis Street location.

The role requires basic clinical knowledge, ability to lift up to 35 pounds, and strong patient-facing skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• BLS Certification preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - National Certification preferred.
• Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic (Massachusetts) preferred.
• Nursing Assistant (LNA - New Hampshire) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs vital signs, weights/heights, intakes, and outputs with accuracy and within established time frame.
• Completes all documentation in the medical record as required.
• Interacts with patients and their families effectively.
• Helps patients with basic hygiene tasks and mobility, including turning and repositioning in bed.
• Listens to health concerns and reports them to the nurses.
