Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital in Wilmington, DE seeks a Patient Registration Rep for the night shift. You will perform outpatient and inpatient registrations, verify information, and assist patients with financial requirements while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High School graduate required.
• 1 year hospital admissions, business office and/or physician's office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of EPIC EMR is required.
• Knowledge of insurance verification preferred.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Medical terminology knowledge required.
• HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA certification within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Registering patients for outpatient and inpatient services, ensuring accurate data capture.
• Provide information to hospital users, patients and families; assist with financial requirements.
• Coordinate with service delivery areas to maximize patient flow and customer service.
