The Valley Hospital-Paramus in Paramus, NJ is seeking a Patient Access Associate to support inpatient and outpatient departments by handling reception, pre-registration, registration, cash collection, admitting, patient education, and unit-specific tasks in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities include accurate data entry, verification of insurance information, and coordination with multiple hospital departments while maintaining a positive patient experience during the night shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Completion of Registration training program required.
• CHAA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform reception, pre-registration and registration duties.
• Assist with cash collection and admitting processes.
• Provide patient and department support as needed.
• Assist with materials and inventory management.
• Deliver patient education and unit-specific tasks.
