Job summary

The Valley Hospital is seeking a capable patient access professional to support the Patient Access Center across multiple departments in a night shift role. You will perform reception, pre-registration, registration, admitting, and associated patient education tasks while ensuring accuracy and courteous service.

This role requires strong communication, English proficiency, and familiarity with a Windows environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Registration training completed; CHAA certification preferred.
• Healthcare/medical office experience with medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Patient Access Center tasks across departments (inpatient, outpatient, ED, etc.).
• Handle reception, pre-registration, registration, cash collection and admitting duties.
• Provide patient/department support, materials inventory management, and patient education.
• Perform unit-specific tasks as needed with accuracy and attention to detail.
