• Two years of work experience in a medical office, call center, healthcare entity and/or customer service environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient access and registration functions for the MUSC system.
• Provide a high level of customer service to MUSC clients and team members.
• Verify and prepare patient accounts for billing to maximize payment for MUSC Health.
• Facilitate Admit Transfer Center registration and Telehealth appointments.
• Process patient pre-admission and admission demographics and verify insurance data.
