CSCA Café, the sister restaurant to Cambridge School of Culinary Arts, seeks an experienced baker to prepare, bake, decorate and finish a variety of pastries and desserts in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in baking, a pastry certificate preferred, and high school diploma. This part-time, overnight role offers opportunities for professional growth and employee discounts.

Competenze

• 3+ years baking/pastry experience required.
• Pastry certificate, diploma or degree preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proven baker experience in a similar role.

Mansioni

• Prepare and mix ingredients for doughs, batters, and frostings according to recipes.
• Operate ovens and baking equipment, adjusting temperatures and times as needed.
• Decorate desserts with frostings, creams and edible decorations.
• Monitor quality and adjust recipes to maintain product standards.
• Track inventory of ingredients and restock as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Package finished products for sale with presentation standards.
• Record ingredient usage and inventory issues during baking.
