Job summary

Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Paramedic to perform patient transport and provide care during transport at the Burnet Campus. The role requires compliance with EMS rules and Ohio laws, along with maintaining certifications and a valid driver’s license.

You will operate emergency vehicles, document incidents, and report to receiving clinical staff while ensuring safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must hold active Ohio Paramedic Certification and Kentucky Paramedic within 6 months of hire.
• Active NREMT certification within 6 months of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certifications within 3 months of hire.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Provider certification within 6 months of hire.
• Trauma certification within 1 year of hire.
• Valid driver’s license with less than 5 points on driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient transport per policy and state EMS guidelines.
• Operate Emergency Vehicles legally and safely.
• Provide appropriate patient care during transport and report to receiving staff.
• Integrate age-specific and culturally diverse concepts into patient care.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and communicate with the care team.
• Document incidents and equipment status; ensure safety in moving vehicle.
