Cincinnati Children's is seeking a Medical Transport professional to join the Transport department at the Burnet Campus. This full-time night shift role uses EMT skills to transport patients, maintain safety, and support ongoing hospital operations.

Qualified candidates will hold an Ohio EMT-Basic (or equivalent), obtain Kentucky EMT-Basic within 6 months, and be Nationally Registered EMT. A valid driver's license and CPR certification are required.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year Emergency Vehicle driving experience.
• Current Ohio EMT-Basic or equivalent certification.
• Obtain Kentucky EMT-Basic certificate within 6 months of hire.
• Obtain National Registered EMT within 6 months of hire.
• Current driver's license & good driving record must be maintained; points not to exceed 5.
• Current CPR Certification.

Aufgaben

• Medical Transport- Utilize EMT clinical skills, medical terminology, and ORC Emergency Vehicle Operation laws to transport patients.
• Safety- Foster environment that prevents accident, illness and injury and strives for continuous improvement.
• Communication- Promote open and timely communication with health care team, patients, family members and visitors.
• Confidentiality- Protect patient/family personal medical and financial information.
