Lynx EMS in Ohio is hiring a Night Shift Paramedic to serve as the clinical leader on overnight units, delivering ALS care and mentoring EMT partners.

You’ll respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, manage interfacility transfers, and ensure thorough documentation and patient safety in low-visibility conditions.

This role demands independent judgment, resilience, strong leadership, and a compassionate, patient‑centered approach during critical overnight hours.

Qualifications

• Ohio Paramedic certification or reciprocity eligibility.
• Strong clinical judgment and advanced assessment skills.
• Ability to stay alert, decisive, and composed during overnight shifts.
• Experience managing high-acuity patients independently.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls during overnight operations.
• Provide ALS care per Ohio protocols and medical direction.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and implement treatment plans.
• Administer medications and advanced airway management within scope.
• Lead and mentor EMT partners to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain a clean, stocked unit and accurate documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, hospital staff, and partners.
