Job summary

Lynx Salem is seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team for a full-time night shift. This role provides high-quality emergency medical care, assesses and stabilizes patients, and collaborates with healthcare professionals to ensure safe patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include EMS assessment, medication administration, documentation, and equipment maintenance, all performed within regulatory standards and with compassionate care during night hours.

Qualifications

• Current Paramedic certification/licensure as required by the state.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently while functioning effectively as part of a team.
• Previous paramedic or emergency medical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical assessment and treatment according to established protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
• Administer medications and perform emergency procedures within scope of practice.
• Safely transport and transfer patients as required.
• Complete accurate and timely patient care documentation.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain emergency medical equipment and supplies.
• Follow all applicable clinical, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Provide compassionate, professional care throughout the night shift.
