We coordinate emergency and non-emergency transportation between homes, emergency departments, hospitals, long-term care facilities, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, psychiatric hospitals, hospice programs, and more. As a Night Shift Paramedic, you will serve as the clinical leader on your unit during overnight hours. Night shift operations require heightened awareness, sound clinical judgment, and the ability to function independently in lower-resource and lower-visibility environments.
You will respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, manage interfacility transfers, support late-night hospital discharges, and provide advanced life support care when it is needed most. Overnight shifts demand strong decision-making skills, operational readiness, and the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
