The ideal candidate holds state Paramedic certification, CPR/BLS, ACLS, and PALS as required, with strong assessment and teamwork skills to thrive in fast-paced emergencies.

Qualifications

• Current Paramedic certification for the state.
• CPR/BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications where required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to operate EMS vehicle safely and independently.
• Strong assessment, communication, critical-thinking, and decision-making.
• Stay calm and effective under high-pressure emergencies.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency medical calls promptly.
• Assess, triage, and treat patients per protocols.
• Provide advanced life support and procedures within scope.
• Administer medications and document care accurately.
• Monitor vital signs and clinical condition.
• Transport patients to facilities as needed.
• Communicate with EDs, physicians, nurses, dispatchers.
• Operate and maintain EMS equipment and vehicles.
• Complete patient care reports and HIPAA-compliant docs.
• Follow policies, OSHA rules, and state/local regs.
• Engage in continuing education and quality improvement.
• Maintain professional, compassionate patient interactions.
