Job summary

RH Sheppard Co Inc is seeking a Paint Line Worker to prepare gears and parts for shipment in a fast-paced, supervised setting. You will operate the paint line, load/unload, mask/unmask, and ensure correct labeling while maintaining daily checklists in the paint booth area.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, basic MS Office skills, forklift certification, and the ability to work overtime including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles (5S, JIT) helpful.
• Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Install and operate paint line equipment to prepare gears for shipment.
• Load/unload gears from the line and ensure proper bar code labeling.
• Mask areas not to be painted and maintain paint booth checklists.
• Unmask parts after coating and keep the area clean.
